Mogwai to release Earth Division EP in September

Following on from the release of a new record this year, Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will, Mogwai have just announced the release of a new EP for later this year. The Earth Division EP will come out through their very own Rock Action Records on September 12 and contains the following four tracks.

  1. Get To France.
  2. Hound Of Winter.
  3. Drunk And Crazy.
  4. Does This Always Happen?

Earth Division

We are told the EP is something different from the traditional Mogwai blueprint, perhaps something more esoteric and ambient-noise led. That, my friends, sure is something to look forward to. It will also be released on 12", CD and download. As you'd expect.

I hope they've abandoned all previous working methods and really gone for something new on this. Really looking forward to hearing it.

"Something different from the traditional Mogwai blueprint" - they've been trailering each new release with this (or similar) bollocks for the last decade (at least). It never happens. And you idiots keep buying their increasingly pointless records. BOOORRRRRIINNGGG.
