Hendrick Weber a.k.a Pantha Du Prince has been rightly attracting the plaudits from all and sundry in the wake of his lastest LP, Black Noise, which managed a 9/10 when we gave it our assessment.
The Princemeister has a single out on March 8 for 'Stick To My Side', which features Noah Lennox from that Animal Collective group of musicians. The single also features a remix by Four Tet, all in the package. The video for it is set in Germany, specifically in the Black Forest or Schwarzwald. The latter has always been my preference for what it's worth.
I highly doubt that it's based on that Indonesian fellow who was dubbed 'Half Man Half Tree' but that's what it reminded me of. Also not sure if 'Stick To My Side' is some kind of terrible pun, or whether it inspired the video.

This is the worst track on the album.
