It's called Defacto and its said to have a "dub-like" sound.
Defacto features Cedric Bixler, Omar Rodriguez, Ikey Owens and Jeremy Ward,
brother of ATDI guitarist Jim Ward. They've already recorded material with Mario
Caldato Jnr. (Beastie Boys producer) for an album expected out in the US on
Grand Royal.
Defacto played a handful of shows in California recently, and plan to visit
Europe for some shows around March. To coincide with the tour, Grand Royal will
release a single from Defacto '456 132 015' and with new tracks including '120
E7' and 'Vesica Pices'.
Meanwhile At the Drive-In have announced that their next single will be 'Invalid
Litter Dept' and will be released on 5th March. ATDI recently shot a video for
the track in Mexico, with photographer Anton Corbijn directing.
