Justice for all: French rump-shakers release documentary
- Artists:
- Justice »
Few have packed dancefloors like Parisian duo Justice over the past eighteen months - but if you've not experienced their live show for yourself yet (and, really, why on earth not?), this documentary about their crazy year-and-a-half isn't going to sate your aural needs.
Rather, the movie - shot by director friends Romain Gavras and So-Me over three weeks of their second US tour - charts the pair's life on the road on a 24/7, fly-on-the-wall basis. It is, they say, "all about the extraordinary things that can happen when a bunch of frogs gets dropped in dreamy America".
The Across The Universe package (including the DVD documentary and a bonus live CD) is released on Monday November 10 by Because Music. There's also a promotional tour, featuring Justice, Busy P, DJ Mehdi and So_Me calling at a select few destinations.

never go see Justice twice
because it's rubbish.
See them once and once only.
yeah
but that one time is amazing.
can't wait to see them again when they begin to play some new stuff http://drownedinsound.com/event/view/28782
yeah
I went to the dance single launch thing at the Mean Fiddler and it was miiind blowing. I hadn't really heard of them at the time, either. I then saw them at the Astoria and it was crap! Late of the pier blew them off the stage.
Expansive tour
Hope they're not tired out from all those dates.
planisphre is TERRIBLE
planisphere is ok.. pretty standard
if you've not experienced their live show for yourself yet (and, really, why on earth not?)
cos their live act is shit, consisting of them needlessly chopping up their records, artlessly reassembling them without any thought for any flow to proceedings and slapping filters over everything, destroying any dynamics that there would've been?
isn't the dome
the big space? that they couldnt possibly headline? this is a bit like that madison square gardens thing again isnt it?
GAH!
I'm not normally one for saying things like this, not least to someone i don't know... But you sir (madam? with an alex I wouldn't want to cause offense), are an idiot! I cannot begin to counter what you have said, because I would say exactly the opposite, which would look clumsy and rather stupid. Suffice is to say, go, listen again, and retract your statement in shame!
Peace out y'all!
their live act
when witnessed without any alcohol in the blood is pretty zzz.
no,
you're an idiot. i've seen them live 3 times, hoping that the first was a mistake, and the third, a year later, they'd have any idea whatsoever what the fuck they were doing.
Justice are the most boring act I've ever watched live.
The freakin' Dome?
R.I.P.
It's not the actual dome
It's Fabric's new sister venue there, 'matter', which has a capacity of about 2,500
