Sludge summer: Manatees on tour
Admired Carlisle sludge-metal trio Manatees - officially the loudest band to ever play a DiScover Club show - are on tour from July 19 alongside Year Of The Man and Holy Roar-signed outfit Throats.
The three-piece have released a split 12" with The Freezing Fog via EyesOfSound, which will be available on the following dates:

21 Edinburgh Henry's Cellar Bar

Sample the band's wares on MySpace, particularly their hella-decent collaboration with Oxbow's Eugene Robinson, 'The Pulp Cut'.

Field day :'(
why can't they have it when i'm not at another festival?
that rapturefest
last fm says highly successful, on the second day last year there were about eight people there! i've only heard about 3 bands playing this year.
they may well
be playing in my warehouse, maybe.
should find out really.
depress...
im sure they are good, caught Throats the other day and they bored me so much...
ive gone from being a sludge, doom whatever fan and im so bored now...im considering Dubstep and Grime much more interesting...
i miss EHG
they won't be playing the bandstand in stoke on the 24th
cos the venue shut down last week.
I perfer throats
to albatross conspiracy. I hear she's a bit rubbish. :P
