Are The Courteeners the new Smiths? Band added to Morrissey's Wireless day with The Rascals
This morning’s round of festival team-picking continues as The Courteeners and The Rascals are hailed from the line by Morrissey for his day at this year’s Wireless.
That day is Friday the 4th of July, the second slab of musical fun to take place in London’s Hyde Park after Jay-Z heads the Thursday line-up. Fatboy Slim and then Counting Crows complete the quartet of bill-toppers.
Tickets for the former Smiths frontman’s soiree are priced at £45 and are available here.

Surely the Courteeners

"Are The Courteeners the new Smiths?"
Fuck off. Seriously, fuck right off and stay there.
I assume
that the title was tongue in cheek.
The title is a copy cat
of a similarly titled board thread from last week. Nothing slips past ole Kev.
no they are not new the smiths...
they will be forgotten.
