Dr. Pepper in hiding as Chinese Democracy is finally finished

Cue hoots of disbelief, G’n’R fans crawling bleary-eyed from the closet, panic buying of Dr. Pepper – ‘cause those ripe wretches are going out business - Chinese Democracy is finished, according to reports in the US.
This isn’t the first time we’ve been here, of course, only to have mud slung in our wrong faces – but TheRockRadio.com are reporting that Geffen Records have received a copy of the album and are bartering with singer Axl Rose over the financial stuff as we speak.
14 years and £6.5m in the making, Rose’s efforts to complete and release the album could be subjected to reality TV treatment the same report suggests – a deal for that is “close, but not signed”, apparently.

i wonder if it'll be
better than zeitgeist?
I hope Duke Nukem Forever comes
with it in a double package.
SHAKE IT, BABY!
Do you think Dr Pepper
actually have a contingency plan for this happening? Very tiny bottles perhaps?
the question is
is the 6.5 million lost?
GAH!
I came here to post this.
touche!
.
Who cares!
Didn't Dr Pepper say they would give a drink to everyone in the US when the record was released?
Imagine the label will be bartering with Axl for years to come over how much money not to give him for this white elephant.
Lame.
I'm strangely drawn to it myself
I'm almost certain it's going to be rubbish though
i think coca cola could afford
to give away free cans.. given that no everyone will claim it, and they could probably do some kind of promotion
Perhaps there's a loophole...
...perhaps one can only claim one's 'free can' of DP if one first admits, publicly, to liking Guns 'N Roses. Who's going to do that? Dr Pepper tastes like fucking marzipan anyway. And GNR are shit. May they go to hell together.
