First gig, first shots: DiS catches Tropics in London
Last week, DiS headed to east London to catch the first-ever gig by new capital city rockers Tropics. Comprised of members past and present of Bullet Union (singer Jodie, pictured main), Navajo Code, An Emergency and RAT:ATT:AGG, we were obviously quite excited.
"A skin-tight set of dischordantly melodic alt-punk" is how our in-attendance reviewer puts it HERE, and below you can check out some exclusive shots of the band, taken by acclaimed photographer Owen Richards. Find his own website HERE. Thanks Owen!

Read DiS's review of the show, which also featured This Aint Vegas and Kasms, HERE. Tropics can be your friends on MySpace HERE. The band's next show is at the Barfly, Camden, with Lovvers on February 13.

Silly billy.
The members all come from bands that've enjoyed sizeable DiS followings.
First show is reviewed (follow the link); I liked these pictures, they're a nice document of ONE of HOWEVER MANY.
Yep.
Although if Jodie wants to buy me a pint at Enablers...
owen is rad
although I do agree that this one hell of a bump. bit weird.
Ignore them Mr Driver
I, representing those who read daily but comment bi-monthly, would much rather read about things like this in the news section then read about Ms. Spears wearing a pink wig for the evening.
Owen is...
