Lee Citron Dies

In a sad year in the musical world which has included the death of Joey Ramone and a sad year in the world in general has just got worse with the death of ex Stony Sleep bassist Lee Citron. He was killed in a car crash in Italy on November 8th.

Anthony, manager of Serafin (the project of ex Stony Sleep member Ben) said the following on the bands message board :-

"He was my friend and one of, if not the best, alternative rock bass player I've ever seen. I feel privileged to have known and worked with a musician of such caliber. He was without a doubt the strangest person I've known. I loved him for that and will miss him."

quite relevantly, half of his then present band (kicks joy darkness) died as well.
try and find out as much as possible about this band. a bit mid period fugazi (but better), a bit jeff buckley

they were a 4 piece, so the other two that died were half the band.
