best song coldplay
ever did
Automatic by Dead Disco
is one of the most underrated songs ever.
no
that's only superstition.
It's only your imagination...
at least 4 of this tracks
would be in my ideal FP compilation...
Also: is this really Fierce Panda's 50th release?
REALLY? Hmmm.
50th album?
probly
The tracklisting looks quite diverse
although I would have personally prefered a double cd (Cram as much music onto it as humanly possible)
the blackout
are fucking terrible. terrible please ian watkins put your cock in my mouth tripe. i cant believe fierce panda released their stuff.
so is it mostly
new stuff with one really old coldplay song that they put on their last compilation (or even the one before that), so loads of people will buy it just for that track....and only listen to that track?
hmmm
Easyworld
were ace. So are apartment. The Hot Puppies are fucking underrated. Their new stuff is awesome.
HEY! I like the Blackout...
HAHA EASYWORLD
what a shite band they were. i mean really. i am so right, they were so bad.
I was thinking that too
Must mean albums, mustn't it? Surely they've done more than that
No Seafood?
rubbish!
Seafood would be in my ideal FP comp !
With Chewy, Tiny Too, Absent Kid, Caretaker, (x) is greater than (y), Le Neon, Immense, Inner Sleeve...
Bellatrix
yes, Bellatrix.
The boy with the something or other eyes. i have that. cracking song.
fierce panda love!
i've loved this label for years.
i remember getting the mail outs from them in 2000, catalogues and stickers hehe!
bicycles is such a brill tune by the maccabees.
ok
bellatrix were fab. jedi wannabe, sweet surrender...their album is hard to track down.
fieeeerrrrrce
I remember talking to Mr Panda many moons ago about putting out a Joeyfat record, top guy, and along with the likes of awkward Silence, Johnson family and a few other compilers Panda have banged out a lot of amazing debuts.
I have a bitching one somewhere which I am sure has Engerica, Million Dead, Funeral For a Friend and someone else great on two bits of shiny 7.
I would say some of the great tracks that have come off Panda are by,
Million Dead
Funeral For a Friend (was it amsterdam conversation or before that?)
3 Colours Red
Tribute To Nothing
These Animal Men
And basically the entire Mosh and Go ep
Be nice to see more sampler style recordings of such diversity out today. Be even nicer to see more bloody vinyl stockist too.
I have Fuierce Panda #1
Signed by him from S*M*A*S*H.
Thats got to be worth 50p, surely?
....
I much preferred the comp they bought out a few years ago to mark their 10th anniversary. Far far better selection of bands than on this. To be fair Fierce Pands is pretty shit these days.
