They both supported The Rakes

On a tour a few years ago, I didn't care then either.

battle are awful

but kubichek!

are pretty ace.

both are...

completely ace house... battle are funky retro and kubichek made me burn holes in all 23 pairs of my dancing shoes with that 'not enough night' carry on a few months ago.

'just shut it down' is so hard and fast it makes me squark like a little school girl... love that 'chek!... woof woof. canny savage them like.

I'll be at The Social

on the 28th. Oh yes...

Hells bells

I'll be going to this, I adore both those bands. On a side note, just how many singles have Kubichek! released from their (admitedly great) album?

Taxi
Opening Shot
Outwards
Nightjoy...twice!
Stutter
Method Acting

There's no more milk left guys, onto album number 2.

Battle were good at Secret Garden Party

although they must be gutted about that other band with a name that is the plural form of their own.

yeh

might have to quit work two days early, wont have enough holidays but seen as ill be in notts anyway

cmon

if kaisers can release oh my god four times then kubichek can release nightjoy at least 28 times

indeed...

if you myspace search it, there's loads of battle and battles, and i shouldn't say it... ya never know who's reading, but battles are better than battle. tragic fact.

to be fair...

...most bands release singles that later appear on their albums and are released under the albums wind.

kubichek haven't released the same single under the same label twice though... different labels. and if you just signed them, wouldn't you want to put out 'nightjoy'! yeah, i think you would.

this band is like futureheads meets bloc party, if i was writing for the nme, and i just love 'em. there's another fact.
