E. Smith plays with rodents: Von Sudenfed announce album
Though uttered for many a moon now, Von Südenfed have officially announced details of their debut album, Tromatic Reflexxions.
With a certain Mark E. Smith (the gummy gentleman pictured) in collaboration with discotheque innovators Mouse On Mars, it seems the title ‘supergroup’ is apt, whatsay?
Released on May 21, the album precedes the 12" release of 'Fledermaus Can't Get Enough' on May 7. Yet again, Domino play their part behind the scenes.
A tracklisting useless? Not when Mark E Smith writes the titles:
‘Fledermaus Can't Get Enough’
‘The Rhinohead’
‘Family Feud’
‘Flooded’
‘Duckrog’
‘The Young the Faceless and the Codes’
‘Speech Contamination/German Fear of Osterreich’
‘Serious Brainskin’
‘Chicken Yiamas’
‘That Sound Wiped’
‘Jbak Lois Lane’
‘Dearest Friends’
Prrrhaps have a listen to the trio's single and original 12” release here.

is a beautiful thing
i don't know why
but something about the concept of Mark E. Smith really pisses me off.
I dont know why
but something about the concept of mark e smith makes my life 100% better
I dont kow why
it doesnt even matter how hard i try
do you remember his duet with inspiral carpets?
"i want you" was a hit and still a great punk song.
aww..
i thought Elliott Smith was doing a Tupac and releasing more stuff after his death
The stuff I've heard from this...
sounds better then the stuff on the latest Fall album so I'm looking forward to this one as a lot of the electronic Fall stuff was quite good.
Not that bad!
But yeah, he is damn ugly
Cool
I like the sound of this.
On a related note, anyone going to the Fall's gig at the Manchester International Festival this summer? They're performing live and there's readings from a new book inspired by the band's music. Looks like it could be really good.
The Rhinohead
is a brilliant title
i completely agree
this has got me much more excited than anything off Post-TLC has.
i don't remember it as such but
the video is great. YouTube ahoy!
busy man
Reformation was great, this sounds even better and we also have an autobiography.
whoever doesn't embrace Mark E Smith into their world is missing out
