Reuben, who list amongst our favourite big rock punkers, are on tour, and will be joined by Engerica, who list amongst our favourite weird rock punkers... Get them both at:

Both bands also play the Download Festival on the weekend of the 10-12th June.
Engerica then head out on tour with Sum 41 in July. Fun!

What's all the bad vibes against Reuben? I thought their new stuff was great. Definitely going to Edinburgh venue, two favourite bands in one night, yass.

Yesh! caretaker are ace, too bad that there drummer left, singer from reuben is now doing to the job, and he is not up too it. (basically hes rubbish)

I disagree, Jamie's well good on the drums, even for a guitarist! Sounded great when I saw them at Josephs Well recently

If your talking about Jamie from Reuben playing for caretaker, then no he is not a good drummer, there old drummer was incredible, but i dont know if youve actually heard any caretaker so perhaps you dont have the other drummer to compare him too.

By saying 'incredible' do you mean 'show off'?
Caretaker are a good band but they are quite dull on stage, sometimes being a musician isn't all about technical ability you know, Jamie plays exactly what he has to and that's all it needs.

caretaker were rocking pretty damn hard in glasgow earlier this year, certainly not boring on that night

I'm going to solely to see Engerica - I caught them as a support band once and they reeally impressed me. Good tunes, fiesty stage show....check them out!

totally, they rock hard but i just think they lack stage presence, I just thought they all looked really nervous and not too comfortable, just my opinion, might have just been that night

have heard about Engerica, are there any bands they sound similar to? My rated bands are kinda melody with rock, I'm hoping that's Engerica too

engerica are pretty cool. odd lyrics. pretty spazzy. some good riffs, bit grungey, bit punky. bit quite catchy songs...well some of.

I saw Reuben and engerica in Newcastle. I think reuben are past it to be honest. I don't know if Jamie has come down with asthma or something but he seemed terribly out of breath nearly the whole set (i left early). Engerica were the bogs dollox though and I can't wait for them to commit something to cd. The strength of the set they performed proved they have enough material for an album

Reuben continue to be one of the best bands to see live. And its all because of Jamie. Jamie is an excellent frontman. Plus this is them releasing their second album within a year. Their putting loads of effort into getting everything out of them and into their music and it really shows.
Reuben are one of the best bands in britain right now. Challenge me. I dare you.

Sorry I have been going to see Reuben for 5 years and I think they are crap now.
