Reports across the Pond have suggested that The Black Eyed Peas are planning to release solo records once the group's forthcoming album is done and dusted.

Member Taboo told reporters: "Fergie has her record, I have a Spanish record coming out and Apl has a Philippino record coming out.

"We decided to branch out and show the world that we as individuals could represent our own styles."

The Black Eyed Peas' new album, Monkey Business, is out in June.

DiScuss: So does this mean they'll split, for good?

i'm ignorant enough to not like completely inane shite, to hate their awful political posturing and to despise that stupid gwen stefani wannabe.

the sad thing is that before she joined they really weren't that awful, but now they're on the level of a u2 or a kula shaker: a complete annoyance.

I love the fact that they made up all this stuff about finding Fergie dancing somehwhere on the street, and asked her to join the band, when actually she's a horrible stage school kid who has been in us sitcoms since she was 6.

She's also had a shitty face-lift, which explains the height of those damn eyebrows!
