Californian folk poppers Rilo Kiley are close to finishing their fourth album after successfully finishing recording 20 songs.
Singer Jenny Lewis told Billboard.com that the follow up to their disappointing 2004 effort More Adventurous hasn’t been mixed yet and that working at Sunset Sound studio in Los Angeles was a bit daunting because The Rolling Stones and Sheryl Crow also recorded there.
Sheryl Crow is still fit, isn’t she!
After her time touring with The Watson Twins, Lewis says she is looking forward to putting the album together and making music that might rock a bit more. The album will probably come out in the first half of 2007.

Excellent
My most anticipated record of 07 except for Bright Eyes. And The Shins
The Shins
and Rilo Kiley for definate...
More Adventurous wasn't too bad, they just got tempted by the aor cash and hopefully now realise that making something that developed on The Execution of All Things would be better than telling stories.
baby i'm bad nooooooooooooooooz....
Yay Rilo Kiley!
Yay!!!
I <3 them!
Yay!
Oh yes
Also looking forward to this and hoping it's more like Execution than More Adventurous.
i liked more adventurous too
this next one should be ace
Fantastic news...
... but I would much prefer another album from The Elected. Blake > Jenny, as gorgeous and lovely as she (and her voice) is.
Execution
Most certainly their career high point, so fingers crossed that the next one is good! although her watson twins stuff is pretty awesome too!!
