Jack Black and Kyle Glass' 'comedy' folk-rock band Tenacious D are to tour the UK and Ireland in December in support of their new album and movie.
The Pick Of Destiny, the album, is released on November 13. The movie of the same name opens four days later. What it's about, we don't know. We're guessing there may be gags, though.
The duo's tour dates are as follows...
December
10 Dublin RDS
11 Glasgow SECC
12 Manchester Evening News Arena
15 Birmingham NEC
17 Brighton Centre
18 + 19 London Hammersmith Apollo
Tickets are on sale from this Saturday, September 9. They're expensive. Probably.

I liked Tribute...
...but the album was too much. They're not seriously going to be able to sell out arenas, are they?
Very funny.
Album always cheers me up. But can I justify the 27.50 for the Hammermsith date? Probably not. Infact I definatley can't.
Funny the first time
annoying after that.
Very funny
agreed.
I'm going to take the middle lane and say that they're ace, BUT, the short jokey tracks with no music do get boring. But the songs are surprisingly good.
Funny how?
Like a clown?
That price tag
is the funniest joke i've heard outta them - £30?! (Ok, £25 outside London)
So they open with 'fuck her gently' and close with 'tribute' - then what?
you're forgeting Wonderboy
Alkoholfulled
Funny for 12 year old boys,
But I don't reckon many else will turn up.
I love the D.
But I still laugh at 'Weird' Al Yankovic songs.
And they did a thing! Where they spunked in a jug! And then drank it!
Perhaps you had to be there.
I was into Korn at the height of their popularity
As you can imagine, I was not amused. NU-METAL ROKS!11!
.
I think you are a bit of a dick.
