Truck 2005! Ticket Info!
Inarguably the best festival ever held in a farm in the middle of Oxford, Truck 2005 is already eagerly anticipated by folks around these parts. So as soon as we got ticket info for this year we gave it to you.
Tickets for the event go on sale on 1 February and will be available from wegottickets.com. As ever, if you buy them early you get them at the discounted rate which this year is £27.50 and at an as yet unspecified date the price will go up to £37.50.
The provisional date for this years festival is the 23rd and 24th of July although this could change between now and then. No bands are officially confirmed yet but we reckon you can expect to see Dive Dive, MC Lars, Trademark & Piney Gir as well as most of the DiS staff strutting their stuff in Steventon.

obviously still cheap and worth it, but isnt that full price a bit of a leap?

i'm happy to pay another £7.50 for whats going to be the best weekend on music this year....
£30 is still a bargain, however you look at.

So buy early then!!
I'll be organising a group to go again this year, from the Midlands. It's like Glastonbury's 3 smallest stages - friendly as anything with the artists wandering around in the crowds.
If you don't go then you are either too poor, too far away or too dumb!
And I'm sure Eel Shock will play again if you bribe Bob Slayer with cider... :)

Oh christ, not MC Lars. How I regret giving my friend the 'Laptop EP' (which I got for free and hated) only for her to convert EVERYONE I know to it. The amount of times I've heard loud drunken versions of 'iGeneration' is countless.

It's been ace the last two years, really great atmosphere, lots of cool bands. We could probably do with a few less wasps this year though guys, get that sorted and you're onto a winner. People can't believe we travel all the way from Birmingham, come on, what else would we do for a weekend, go to the bullring? Pur-lease.
Re: Truck 2005! Ticket Info!
ha, check out this guys profile, (the truck man) , "no time for nothing else but TRUCK, actually click, photo, oh not cool enough, click , photo, hmm maybe with shades? click ,, photo etc etc.
Re: Truck 2005! Ticket Info!
The Ciderwasps were definately part of the atmosphere last year.
The Bullring is OK, but real Brummies go to the Flapper & Firkin and occasionally the Bar Academy!
Wonder if they will be able to get more big name headliners? Trademark were cool last year, but if they stick too much to just Oxford artists then it might loose some of its appeal.
Travel from Brum and tickets to get in is still cheaper than most festivals (especially V!) and everyone's so nice.

Truck 2004 was great but those bloody wasps stung my poor wife four times in as many seconds. Bastards. We'll be there again though.

F**king quality, dive dive confirmed so early. i really think they should headline this year. they've contributed so well to british music over the past 8 years (well, as dustball as well) and are yet still havent been recognised in a way they deserve. i saw them on monday night and went away with the chuffed to bits, id danced so much i still hurt today, so entertaining, so tight, so electic on stage, and had all the qualities of an international super group, and yet there are so many people out there yet to experience their greatness!
