R&B superstar R Kelly surprised drive-thru customers at a St Louis McDonald's when he popped up at the window to take their orders.

Kelly, who is apparently a fan of Big Macs, persuaded the manager of the branch to let him take orders for a while. Word spread, and soon R fans were queueing to tuck into some greasy beefy goodness. And to meet Kelly, obviously.

A spokesman said: "He gets a kick out of it, I guess as a way to interact with fans without it being totally crazy."

Um, without being totally crazy? Whatever, dude.

The terrible news about John Peel, has upset many people, more shocking with him seemingly being so healthy.

It does seem a little inappropriate to have this story on the board at this time, but indeed life goes on.

I'm sad over Peel too but any sort of news article where my first reaction is 'R Kelly will do anything to get his hand on fresh untouched virgin buns' gets my vote.

Note to patrons: avoid R's 'Special Sauce'.
