Maritime, the new guise of Promise Ring singer-guitarist Davey von Bohlen,
have announced a short UK tour in support of their recently-released album
'Glass Floor'.
The band call at:
15th September - London - Underworld
16th September - Nottingham - Stealth
17th September - Glasgow - Nice and Sleazy
19th September - Leeds - Venue TBA
Forming last year following The Promise Ring's final album 'Wood/Water' and subsequent parting of ways, Maritime are von Bohlen, ex-PR drummer Dan Didier and former Dismemberment Plan bassist Eric Axelson.

yippee, more lisp-tastical music! wood/water is such an underrated album. bring it on!

both the plan and the promise ring were pretty great but the maritime album isnt that amazing.. it's a bit too fey and inconsequential in places. having said that "adios" and "someone has to die" are pretty fun.
