DiS did the Camden Crawl 2008 the weekend just gone, chasing NW1’s cracked pavements in pursuit of hawt young t’ings. And the Fratellis.
While DiS was primarily holed up at our own Bullet Bar venue, ensuring the likes of Johnny Foreigner, Lovvers, Wild Beasts and M83 were all present and correct for the pleasure of many a sweaty attendee, intrepid snappers Holly Erskine and Lucy Johnston hit the streets in search of gold, photographic gold. Here’s our In Photos account of this year’s two-day booze ‘n’ bands blowout…
Photos up to and including Acoustic Ladyland by Holly Erskine; photos after Acoustic Ladyland by Lucy Johnston.

Who were your highlights of this year’s Crawl? Did you make it along to the DiS stage at the Bullet Bar? We enjoyed many of the above, and many more; too many in too short a space of time to photograph. Perhaps next year we’ll roll into Camden with a dozen photographers. And still fail to capture everything.
'Til then, happy viewing and see you next year!

You owe me new feet
but Bullet Bar was far enough away from the centre of Camden to have a low twat quotient that made up for it.
Man alive...
the Wild Beasts' moustache action has to be the most depressing thing i've seen this year...he looks fucking ridiculous. Wwhen did this kind of plumage become acceptable?

Lucy kicks Holly's arse on the photos front!
This year
It was good fun but very poor value for money compared to great escape or field day !! Friday had a nice crowd but Saturday as i predicted was full up of pissed up twats who made it slightly depressing . Red stripe sponsering it was a backward move and im not sure allowing under 18's to the open air stage was good either !!If it carries on in this vein it will become a glorified kids piss up and seriopus music fans will give it a miss!!
I object Strongly to queing so did the crawl seeing untrendy bands with no need to queue ! This is what i saw day/afternoon on both days in order with marks out of 10

I've been looking at that second Johnny Foreigner pic for a good two minutes and I still can't work out what the hell's going on.
It doesn't help matters
that he looks almost exactly like the singer from McFly, sans moustache.
yeah
The acid wash blue jean jacket isn't helping him either. he looks like a reject from the 1986 Sears Fall catalog
Heeehee...
by this point i was so drunk i don't think I could tell you!
They were brilliant as usual though!
some sort of collapse...
...people on top of people.
well these pictures are very pretty indeed
i demand a list of your gear and EXIF data.
It's me in the green shirt!
The photo was taken towards the end of the yr all just jealous (I think), when I was drunkenly reading a map. Alexei plunged into the front row catching everyone offguard.
Looks like we are being savagely beaten by his guitar. Agreed about the wild beasts mustache though.
I am frightened of
Ipso Facto's eyebrows..!!
Also, We Are Physics' guitarist resembles Ross from The League of Gentlemen.
coool
