What did you get up to on Easter Monday? Us? We launched our monthly DiScover club in Sheffield with Johnny Foreigner and Fury Of The Headteachers. It was fun.
Highlights included: lots of people playing SNES, not messing up the raffle, rewinding/scratching 'One Armed Scissor', drinking DiS cocktails, the bands (obviously) and pizza.
Lowlights: Mike Diver playing Lily Allen (I don’t remember playing that, although I don’t remember much – Ed), the next morning/afternoon.
Before we cut to the pictures, a massive thanks to The Harley for being so hospitable, the bands for playing, and YOU for turning up. If you did. Oh, and while we're at it here's the science bit for next month:

Hardly.
I whipped ass before attempting to play when very, very drunk... and even then I won a round.
those
dis 'cocktails' made me completely forget about the SNES.
where the frig frog was it?
great night anyways, despite my ex boss completely forgetting who i was and asked my name. probably better that way.
...
When you went in the door, it was to the right.
Those cocktails = ouch.
I'm in love...
with that second JoFo photo! good work Gary - as usual!! :D
got a thing for armpits?
FILTH.

this! although he is much better at dealing with hangovers than you, Rob. :-)
thinking about it properly
(not drunkenly), this was really good and well organised and stuff. well done everybody. yeah.
Is it going to be the same cocktail or are we getting a different one every month? My brain does not like DiSmeister.
thanks!
glad you had fun.
maybe we could vary the cocktail on a monthly basis. any suggestions?
can I add my thanks
for a great evening, which I really enjoyed. Good pics.
Can everyone lay off me, please?
Played twice, lost twice.
Not a good day for pool.
Come play me in my yard, though.
Cleveland Arms.
I'll take you apart.
you lost to me
now that is bad bad bad.
at sfII?
Yes, I recall that.
Bad form me.
yes sorry i should have said
although i beat someone at pool. so win win all round for me!
next time i expect more of a challenge...
i did not.
don't spread these LIES.
and how did i cheat at pool?
just own up, basically me > you.
I'VE GOT A SEMI ON
I'VE GOT A SEMI ON
I'VE GOT A SEMI ON
BECAUSE THERE IS A SEMI-ON
did you myspace him?
okay i'll send him a message.
chicken.
In your defence
I did win by default, as you potted the black, although I did used to lose regularly to someone who lost at pool to a blind man once.
