where would you choose? (either abroad or in the UK)
Enjoy traveling, but haven't found anywhere abroad I'd like to live more than the UK yet.
but apparently their visa regulations make it really difficult. What's that all aboot!?
it doesn't face the road so won't be as noisy.
Not particularly exotic but I like it there.
Live in a palace an eat pineapple cakes everyday
Or if I had money, Sydney.
Actually happening next year (at least for a few months). So excited.
And haven't lived there, but it's too far from the UK/everything. Other than that I'm still really happy in Bristol.
Sometimes I don't know why we don't just do that (we could get twice the house for our £), but I think the answer is that we like the city, we work in the city, we are lazy.
Within getting off the train and walking to the hostel, I was already thinking of ways I could move there.
I really like Lisbon and Stockholm. The only place I've really hated was Perth, wanted to leave as soon as I arrived.
(i'm moving there in two months)
Sunshine, surf, and dead close to the Pyrenees for bike rides.
such an awesome city.
feel quite lucky to have lived in quite a few really cool cities. more stuff like that would be good. nowhere too hot.
He loved it and it looked lovely from the pics I saw
half the world is a right off for me. can barely stand brussels.
I bloody love Melbourne.
I also like the South coast and Bristol is nice too
Europe: Amsterdam is quite obvious, I also like some quaint places in France like Bergerac, Aix etc. Seem to have a great work/life balance. Aix is quite academic and good for my work.
Worldwide: Seattle, Vancouver, Beirut, Kerala, Tokyo.
haven't been to loads of places so i'll just say Brighton, though i reckon i'd be happy most places near the sea.
rest of world: dunno really Berlin's good, i reckon i'd like to live in Brittany or Normandy, again by the sea.
must be full to the brim with fannybags by now
in r harts
as for city living, I quite enjoyed antwerp
so i can walk to gigs
but i like our house
good stuff, weathers pish but the rest is pretty great
strutting about the place with their big watches and idiot faces. The Keys is an abomination.
I must have seen the wrong bits. Or gone too long ago. People talk of these cool bars and quirky restaurants. All I saw was a massive muddy river, pizza or goulash restaurants & women selling either themselves or woven rugs by the side of the road.
A decent house in Bristol, somewhere near Gloucester Road and St Andrews Park. I would have to ensure no dickhead / student neighbours. Places there can cost a bomb though. Or maybe a swish flat by the harbour (same rules apply). Then my "main" place would be a country mansion, the kind of thing footballers live in.
This is all lottery winning stuff though.
scene so probably Leeds
Abroad: Either New York so much culture/music plus training over there would be amazing or for completely different reasons Iceland.
the only Scandinavian city I've been to is Aarhus and it was great, I reckon I could put a few years in there
I should clarify, not a new-build blinged out twat-pad like Jordan lives in. Just something in that price range. I was thinking a cottage in the country, bit of history to it, and a bit of land too.
It's my home and I miss it terribly
