Christmas presents
Have you bought anything awesome for anyone? How much have you spent so far?
I'm really struggling for ideas, so i'm hoping to steal some from you.
I was thinking of buying someone some boots. That's a silly idea, isn't it? What are some good shops that sell boots?
-
Haven't bought any yet.
Might not.
Can't be fucked.

Thanks, having a browse now
Looking for boots that go quite high, that aren't too shiny or with much of a heel. She's a bit of a emo-y rock girl, but not too much.
Can you tell i've never bought boots before..?
-
was going to buy gf a ukele
before realising it was like when homer bought marge a bowling ball
-
Clarks have great boots
Cheers

i know.
but whatever i get she wont like/will forget about in minutes so might as well make it worth it.
-
last sunday i was hungover and lost about 3 hours walking around urban outfitters
and menkind (which is where i got it from) then i had a wagamamas on my own. Best hangover day ever.
-
Get this right...
I'm going to give my dad the QI book "1,227 QI Facts To Blow Your Socks Off" right? But not only that; I'm going to bundle the book with some nice socks. You know, to replace the ones that have been blown off! Genius.
-
Not really my sort of thing
But I'm guessing you know what she likes... :D
-
mind. blown.
i need a new mind.
-
That book is currently 20p for the Kindle.
Cheapskate.
-
Got my gf tickets to see the Book of Mormon next year,
every time she sees a poster she says she wants to go so she should be pretty happy. Cost a tonne and it's not till April, shit is hard to get hold of yo.
Got my dad a new knife set (Groupon, ta), mum a scarf and a signed book (freebie, but made out to her, ta), will get my bros an encyclopedia of cheese and Muppets on DVD respectively. JOB DONE.
-
I've bought ALL my boyfriends presents.
They're a bit shit though.
I have also bought something for my dad and something for my friend nothing else for anyone else.
-
10
Gots loads of boyfriends.
-
What is her style like?
I don't like those Kurt Geiger ones and those Timberland ones disgust me.
-
haha they disgust you?
I'm really shit at this.
As i say, a bit rocky and emo-y, although not to a massive extent. Nothing shiny.
-
Does she wear heels?
cause i've got the best pair of ankle boots I've ever bought that would be a safe bet? and they're only like £35.
-
maybe a bit of a heel
but not really. lets see?
tell me why the timberlands are shit.
-
I don't think they're shit
Knee high DMs?
-
I just don't like those Timerblands
Not my style....how about some DMs?
Just looked on RiverIsland and it seems they don't sell them anymore, soz.
These are nice though:http://www.riverisland.com/women/shoes--boots/ankle-boots/Black-metal-toe-chelsea-boots-626562
I'm just REALLY fussy and particular with shoes though.
-
best present i bought
was a knitted beard for a girl i know. she's gonna be psyched.
-
my wife bought my dad an addict a ball
we have unwrapped it and started playing with it
it is fucking superb, although part 31 is simply infernal
-
Maybe......
She has mentioned DMs in the past. I'll take a look and report back.
-
too shiny!
i'll follow this DMs idea though.
-
No! Just the quiz.
She's finds my use of DiS to be 'weird'.

I didn't read that!
SOZ.
SHINY! -
so i think these or the timberlands really
http://store.drmartens.co.uk/p-2146-dr-martens-triumph-1914-w-boot.aspx
I know for a face she doesn't like the usual yellow stiching on standard DMs
I think the DMs are probably a safer option, but im tempted to gamble on the timerlands and save a bit of money :/
-
Bought my mam a ebook cover, a hideous dressing gown, a vile sequinny purse and a Scandinavian crime novel. I have her disgusting taste down to a T.
Taking my brother to see The Hobbit on Friday and got him loads of percy pigs and liquorice.I was thinking of buying my brother Risk because I want to play Risk but he'd probably not let me play it and that'd be £20 down the drain. In similar news does anyone have Risk, can I come over yours an play Risk? Risk.
-
Ahh, should have read this.
Those are better than the Timberlands. Don't be tight.
