Cycling Thread No. 3,321 - Ow My Butt! edition
Been getting some longer rides in lately. Just done 45mile, feel I could have gone further so not finding it too bad. APART FROM MY BUM THAT IS.
Wearing bib-shorts with arse-padding. But I'm getting sooooo sore. I feel ok once I stop, it's just while I'm on the ride really. After about 20 or so miles.
I end up using every descent as an opportunity to stand out of my saddle and shout 'ooooh me bum' at people. Not very olympian.
Any good tips? Can you double up on arse padding? Like wear some padded undercrackers under the bib shorts? Will it simply get better the more I do?
