Yknow how they said London was going to be ABSOLUTE CHAOS during the Olympics?
And how everyone was going to be pressed against windows on the tube and the buses?
They were wrong. Getting around London at the minute is a logistical wet dream, and everyone who organised and devised the Olympic lanes and suchlike should be proud of their fine work.
In general, not just during the games, London's public transport network puts other cities' to shame. San Francisco's is meant to be good. I think it's crap. Closer to home, Manchester's is disgusting (bus-wise) and dreadful in every sense of the word (tram-wise).
