Amy Winehouse is going to get a statue in Camden - seriously, what did she ever do?!
It's going to be in the Roundhouse apparently, on the basis that it's "important that Amy's contribution to music is recognised in Camden."
Now, not even being a trolling dick, what did she ever do to warrant this level of recognition? She only released two albums and, even if you like them, you can't honestly argue that they were in any way ground-breaking, or special, or genre-defining or anything like that. They won't, I don't think, in any way be remembered be as classics.
And it's not like, to my knowledge, she did a load of charity work, or was even a good role model or anything like that.
I just don't get it.
