Tennis anyone?
In honour of Andy Murray's imminent departure from yet another grand slam in the semis at the hands of recovering hypochondriac Novak Djokovic, let this be the thread where you explain the century long woes of British tennis.
I really hope this is a reverse jinx, because I'd love to see Andy finally win a grand slam. I think he had the misfortune to be born at the wrong time, men's tennis has been so strong lately. Roger's dominance has taken a couple of really incredible players to overcome in Rafa and the Djoker. Andy is just a bit off the pace, as witnessed by him never winning a set when he's made a final.
If Murray was the same age as whinger Hewitt, he'd probably have a couple of grand slam titles at the expense of old Lley-lley. He's clearly a better player, Hewitt was just lucky to be between Sampras and Federer.
