So, inbreeding...
I was listening to these podcasts today about how Caesar managed to slay loads of Mediterranean Islands due to their inbreeding over the years, where their offspring over decades had gotten genetically weaker and weaker and I got thinking...
Now I know it's a bit dodge and fundamentally the kind of thing the Daily Express was invented to report on, but why exactly does it weaken the resulting genes in offspring so much?
Is it because you can have too much of a good thing? Is it natures way of punishing people from villages? If two great warriors had a kid, would they turn into a walking bastardisation or a spritely young fighter?
I blame those gypsies in Basildon.
