Advise me, DiS
Since asking for dating advice on this site seems to have moved on from the days of bus stop girls, and reached a greater level of social acceptance, I've decided to ask for your collective wisdom.
Backstory - basically, I was hanging out with this guy a bit last term, getting on really well but nothing ever happened and I was too chicken to make any sort of move. Then I didn't hear from him at all over Christmas or into the New Year, and pretty much gave up on the whole thing. Saw him again on Monday for the first time in about 3 months; we went to see popular misogynists The Decemberists (and by some freakish coincidence both of my other friends who were meant to be going dropped out on the day, so it was just the two of us). Remembered how well we got on, we didn't stop talking all evening (except during the songs, obviously), gave him a lift home and had a awkward but strangely hot attempted-hug-that-turned-out-more-as-stroking-each-other-on-the-arm moment as he got out of the car.
So now I've got a fairly massive crush on him all over again. I'm thinking I should probably just go for it and hope for the best... but HOW? Tell me what to do, DiS. Is going for a coffee/random meander somewhere and then mentioning how much I like him a good idea? TL;DR?
