Aliastair Campbell loses Bad Sex Prize

Pipped by Rowan Somerville. I've never quite understood this prize. It says 'Its aim is "to draw attention to the crude, tasteless, often perfunctory use of redundant passages of sexual description in the modern novel."' Surely being crude and tasteless is a good thing, no?
