Moral dilemma
Alright, let’s say you bought some shoes off eBay about a month ago, and when they turned up they were a size bigger than stated in the auction. You try them on and they are a little big, but fit almost well enough.
You email the seller explaining this and get a ‘shit sorry thought they were 10s hope its not a problem’ reply, with no mention of return or refund. Before going through the hassle of sending them back and sorting a refund out, you wear them once or twice to see if they are any use.
As you’d paid good money for them, you decide you’d rather have the correct size and get a refund.
You email the seller 4 separate times over the next 3 weeks, all with no reply. Then you decide to open a case with eBay to try and get your money back. The VERY next day, Paypal refund your money and you get a ‘sorry for the delay i hav been with out compture. i wii put the money back into account. please send boot back straight away. many thatks’.
Do you send them back, or not? I know I should, but part of me thinks 'fuck him, he wasn't interested before eBay/Paypal got involved.
What would you do?
