Chinese Grand Prix Thread
So, it's been two weeks since Seb Vettel finally got a win under his belt, last event before the return to Europe and mass updates to the cars.
Fairly consistent times for Friday practice - Maclaren and Mercedes set the pace, Rosberg still consistently quicker than Schumacher (hurray!) and Hamilton/Button sharing the spoils for their team. Buemi suffers a 200mph crash (but is ok) after a new front upright piece fails on his suspension. Alonso may have lost a second of his 8 engines in first practice.
At the back, Hispania are closing in a touch on the other two new teams, with Lotus again looking the quickest of the three. Big updates planned all round for Barcelona.
On the technical side, more teams trial an 'F-Duct' concept in practice. Ferrari, Williams and Mercedes are all trying it, while Sauber have theirs race ready. Big advantage is expected in it here, with China having the longest straight on the calendar.
Any more?
