what does it say about the state of uk multiplexes when 'the bounty hunter' gets wider distribution than 'the hurt locker' or 'an education'
i tried to watch both of these films in mainstream multiplexes when they were released but nowhere had them for a decent run....maybe one or two token..'directors chair' showings, bit no more.
and now they've obviously attracted the audiences and praise they always would, cinemas are willing to show them again.
same thing happened with this is england
so why does this happen?
is it purely because shit munchers will eat heaps of shit?
there is no reason why the hurt locker couldn't be marketed to appeal to friday night meatheads that are content to watch tripe....so why doesn't it get shown?
anyone have any insightful opinions about the state of distribution in the uk?
