Challenging people in public
In a similar vain to grouch's thread. Do you ever challenge people in public if they do something idiotic or say something to you?
This happened to me twice last week and has never really happened before.
Incident number 1 (which I may have already mentioned) : Guy runs in front of bus for about 500 meters so he can get on it so we go insanely slow for the whole time annoying most people on the bus. Everyone on the bus is calling to the driver not to let him on and when the driver doesn't act I confronted the guy telling him he's an idiot and he should just wait for the next bus instead of wasting our time. It ended in a couple of pushes to each other but that was it.
Incident number 2: In Sainsbury's I was stood at the end of the aisle, and there was plenty of room for people to get past. A guy in his mid 50's walks up and says 'Oi, get out the way' and pushes past. At this point his wife is scurrying along behind him trying to tell him to stop being angry. I instinctively say 'Fuck off. You have no right talking to me like that........' to which he replied 'what did you say?' and I said 'You have no right to talk to me like that you twat' <<<----something along those lines
I then turn to my friends and pretty much repeat all I said so he ould hear me and then shout back to his wife to take him to a care home, because he's quite obviously not fit enough to be out in public.
