Poker.
Something I always intend to play more regularly. I have debates with myself whether to join a pokersite and always decide against it - I'm sure I'll get addicted and lose all my savings.
Occasionally I have an poker night with a few of my mates, but it's never for money, despite my best efforts. Probably a good thing it's not for money - I never have enough faith in my cards and fold before the flop. And I never bet enough, cos I think I won't be able to coax people into having a cheeky punt otherwise.
I've only played Texas Hold 'Em. Are any other derivatives good?
Any tactics (I know no one's gonna divulge)? My mate says he tends to only play against the chipleader or the guy nearest him if he's chipleader (he often is).
This is an absolute non-thread. I'm just trying to avoid my essay comparing Vaughan-Williams to Holst.
