Shall we have a football thread?
Peter Leven's penalty gives MK Dons a 2-1 win over Norwich City who took a 17th second lead through Chris Martin. Everything was all yellow for a while.
Aberdeen and someone (Falkirk?) draw 0-0 in Scotland.
Eduardo's ban for diving is overturned. Although I'd have liked the ban to have stood UEFA made a rod for their own back by coming out straight after the original punishment by saying that the ban was pretty much a one off.
Chelsea take on Porto tonight whilst Man United face a tricky trip to Turkey to face Besiktas.
The Premier League have announced that clubs not keeping up with their new stringent financial rules that come into play on Monday will face transfer bans. It will be interesting to see just how many loopholes there are in these rules that can be exploited.
Michel Salgado wants Beckman at Blackburn.
George Burley looks set to stay in charge of Scotland. Great news for people that don't like the Scots.
Liverpool announce an £80million sponsorship deal with Standard Chartered Bank.
John Madejski refutes reports that he is going to be the latest chairman to sell up to a middle eastern consortium. Reading of course the club concerned.
Ryan Giggs and Mike Phelan thought Paul Scholes' red card at the weekend was harsh. Rubbish. Fully deserved. Scholes would have been the best English midfielder since Bobby Charlton if he could tackle. Probably.
