Brixton Windmill maybe?
but they sure weren't headlining.
as a band. I can think of much worse.
It deserved to be stolen.
when I had no idea who the bands the NME covered were.
I just thought I'd be older than 23.
It seems so easy to sell out Brixton Academy then fade into obscurity not long after.
and they had a song where the chorus was "AWL I WANT IS A LITTLE PIECE AND QUUUIIEEET" in a horrible mockney accent. i was more aware of that bellend's hat than the music though
Take a seat, put your feet up and have a good moan.
it just felt wrong to be in a room with teenagers waving glow sticks for the klaxons / css. All I could say to my wife was "I remember all this rave stuff first time around. Lets go home because they're shit as well"
Tim Lovejoy put them on Soccer AM every ten minutes, which tells you all you need to know. Basically they're the poor man's Ordinary Boys.
