Crazy people that come into your life, and quickly leave again
About four weeks ago, me and some mates went out for a night out. One of my mates said he was bringing this girl along, who he'd met a couple of weeks prior on a night out. I thought it a bit strange that a girl would choose to come out alone on a night out with a group of eight guys of whom she'd only met one, once, and in a nightclub. But anyway, she came along
She was dressed like a twat (all fluorescent 'rave' gear), but that's neither here nor there. Despite her attire, she seemed sound enough. During the following week, she drives three towns across to meet us all in the pub to watch the football. Again, she comes alone. Bit weird. That following weekend, she was out both Friday AND Saturday night with my mates. This happened the following weekend too. Again, bit weird
She'd basically clinged on to my mate Si, the one who'd originally invited her out. Last weekend, he went back to hers and they bumped uglies. In the morning, she asked if they could spend the day together, and he said he couldn't, because he had football (which was true)
He gets a text from her the next day saying she didn't want to see him anymore. He asks why, and she tells him that she's got a history of depression and that when he left for football, she'd tried to overdose and attempted up in hospital. The weird thing is, she'd updated her Facebook status via her mobile all along the way. "Claire is feeling depressed". "Claire doesn't care anymore". "Claire is on her way to hospital" (she actually did all of these)
So... is she a liar? Is she just doing it for attention? Or is she mental? We haven't seen her since - but she is still very much alive, judging by her CONSTANT Facebook updates
Had any brief scrapes with the unhinged?
