underage boozing
Last night I saw a real life episode of Skins played out before my eyes... my friends band played at this club in Chelsea and honestly, the average age of the crowd was about 14 or 15. They were all boozing it up massively and this was at 8pm..! I got asked how old I was in the loos and my friend yelled out saying, 'Don't be afraid to say you are 23' (I'm not 23). The girls who were clearly high (probably pills) then said, 'Oh that's soooo cool - I wish I was 23... ra ra ra...'
HA.
I also got asked if I was over 18 by the bouncer on the door when I got there.
I find it odd that a licensed premises so blatently sells alcohol to - effectively they are - children. Really bizarre.. I mean, what's that all about?
How do bars get away with that? Licensing wise?
I feel really old today (I am). I'm clearly not down with the kids
