Samuel Beckett
I've never had the chance to see any of his plays performed, its something that I'm determined to rectify as soon as possible. I think reading about Harold Pinter and then reading some of his plays prepared me quite well for him. I've never had the opportunity to see The Homecoming either. Normally I find reading plays quite a frustrating experience, but I still find reading Beckett's compelling even after multiple read throughs.
I always preferred Endgame to Waiting For Godot, but maybe thats because I read it first and it made more of an immediate impression on me.
Anyone else interested in either of these people?
