crash: the tv series
no, not the ballard one, the godawful piece of self-congratulatory trash that somehow won best film in 2004. it's going to be a tv series. in the same way that the film featured such meaningful scenes as god somehow stopping a bullet from hitting a child in the face to show someone just how bad racism was and sandra bullock realising that racism was bad when she had to rely on her latino servant to help her up with she bashed her knee, i predict the following scenes:
gangster rapper spots small child playing with bunny rabbit, gives up life of crime
old white racist hears soulja boy, thinks 'damn thats catchy', turns away from racism
adolf hitler uses sam beckett's quantum leap machine to leap into the body of chris tucker, realises through his new found gift for comedy and ruining films that 'hey! blacks are okay!'
i'll stop now.
i really didn't like Crash. it was magnolia without the good acting or short cuts without the great direction. it was hollywood execs wanking themselves off over how passionate they feel about the evils of racism and poverty whilst they never step out of their air conditioned cars without an armed guard in any area of LA.
i am prole.
