If you protested at the Oxford Union this evening
I really detest you.
I can't comprehend people who don't let things they disagree with go ahead.
What is acceptable is showing your disapproval. If they'd gathered around to shout their chants and show their purple signs, and that was all, fair enough.
But preventing a debate from going ahead - a debate which was intended to tackle the BNP and Irving in the most logical, understandable method - is staggeringly ironic. I can't get my head round their logic.
What I do know, is that the vast majority of them are motivated by their pathetic excuses for consciences. They think that because they've had such advantaged upbringings, they owe something to those less fortunate. So to clear their middle-class consciences, they go and do things like this.
I don't like either of the speakers, but I'd be intrigued to hear what they both have to say. Equally, I'd be as interested to hear what the other side had to say too. Its a shame these moronic posh boys and girls can't grow up and realise that protesting against these people isn't going to do anything when it comes to 'stopping them'. If anything, its giving them notoriety, and incidentally, popularity.
At least they'll all sleep easy tonight, knowing they've done something for the good of freedom.
