So Dis has been a bit nasty/naughty?
I havnt seen this piece of controvesy, but it sounds like it was a thread about some myspacer who had a few too many of herself on myspace.
I gather there was the a comment that she was wrong to do that partly cos 'she wasnt good looking'
I realise that there shouldnt be censorship on what is said.
BUT I have noticed quite a lot of laughing at peoples myspace 'posing'
Which is kind of justified, especially as a generic trend.
HOWEVER to pick on one individual (who may be insecure and just following what she believes to be the way to go (cos loads of others do it)
IS rather cruel.....I mean its not as if this one myspacer is responsible for the whole phenomena
It was claimed that she laid herself open to it.....well maybe to be judged by others who are looking for someone attractive maybe.....but not to have a whole website discuss her.....that is actually quite sexist......and hypocritical..........who can truly claim to have never shown off or posed a little?
This girl was not the worst, have you never been encouraged to 'show off a little, tell yourself you are great, attractive, desirable.
Also she may have been attractive to some. Communally groups of people express exagerated ideals of attrativeness, as if to say that they themselves have such high standards because they are because they are such 'hotties' themselves.
This is all shallow its true, this girls myspace may have come across as shallow, I am sure that any hurt she might feel might not be so shallow.
Above all why attack some one who hasnt hurt you, someone who is obviously not the perpetrator but a follower of a trend that annoys you.
You and others have disobeyed bill and teds prime directive
'Be Excellent to people'
