David Hirst is a legend.
STILL RISING! must be some sort of record.
he bought that football for 99p from a petrol station
it was measured at like a million miles an hour.
pages. every week is good
Jimmy Floyd in the top ten?
at a guess
what i love about it is that basically, no-one on the pitch could have done anything about it.
that was one fast moving ball.
He's been captain in a friendly though...
Hirst is a legend, I cna agree with you on that one. Though he didn't get to play enough for us.
There is a John Arne Riise goal against Man Yoo that I seem to remember nearly took the skin off the ball, and when I was a kid I saw David Burrows win a 'hardest shot' face off on Record Breakers, possibly against David Batty
John Fashanu was on it and did hilariously badly.
Landzaat's goal against Arsenal the other day could be up there. And I remember Mark Ward making a hole in the net with a penalty once.
Keegan resigned, Peter Taylor took over as caretaker, gave Beckham the captaincy...no?
Nicky Summerbee with the hardest shot in football? He was when I was younger anyway.
Shame he wasn't actually that good.
Don't get me started again.
played the whole 90 minutes of the Englanf Germany match. Was Keown captain?
