Think carefully, I will be conducting a survey:
Brian McFadden - Real To Me
*checks SXSW music feed. gets angry. calls bullshit with a side order of inverse snobbery*
seems odd, but it's a fact.
Just because it's a really shit song by an otherwise excellent band.
But surely it cant be anyones favourite song ever.
Total fucking dogshit
Actually, this probably is someone's favorite song.
that someone had spray painted something like
I was gonna control this ship
But then I got high
(or something to that effect).
Mines changes from week to week
It's an amazing song. One of their best!
I'm willing to admit that it's not THAT shit, but still, I don't see how it could be anyone's favourite song.
Up until the saxophone solo, it has this shimmering, jangly peach of a melody with some of the most beautiful poetry ever committed to record. But when the sax kicks in, it all goes downhill.
Reached no 19 in 1996. No-one's favourite song ever.
Thats like all the worst things about Britpop rolled into one. Hard to think one of the guys who wrote it was partly responsible for This Is A Low.
That's nobody's favourite song, and that there is the bottom line.
This song has an excellent rhythmcal sence.
Surelly,he affects many people.
His imajination is infinity? great.
indie cop-out answer yeah but i literally cannot conceive how someone could think its a good song, let alone the best song ever. especially coming from such a clearly naturally gifted songwriter as grant hart. i guess its a throwaway.
I came onto this thread to post that very song. Sick minds think alike.
given the royalties he's been earning off it since 1995. That's an awful lot of Haribo.
