I'm a bassist but I can make a decent crack at this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBDVKJRXmGQ
Solo proper starts around 3:02

The beginning of Mayonaise
by the Smashing Pumpkins.
I'm slow and fat fingered. It works for me.
-
I haven't played guitar for years, but I reckon I could do a reasonable hash at this one

Solo starts around the 56 second mark.

Such an underrated solo
Such an excellent guitar line.
-
Damaged by primal scream
Fairly simple. I'm not good at solos.
-

I'm shit at solos.
Probably Iron Man. Or Nothing Else Matters. Neither particularly impressive.
-
I play guitar the way a woman jerks off
so I don't know about difficult, but the best is maybe "Hey" by the Pixies.
-
I'm half serious
I mean obviously it's not difficult, but it is the best

Impulse by Endless Sporadic
After playing it to death on Guitar Hero. Took me fucking AGES to learn, bet I couldn't play the first 30 seconds now :(
-
idk
I could play some pretty tough solos if I wasn't such a slacker.
I can play some of the pretty bits from 'One' by Metallica from memory.
-
Alice Cooper - Halo of Flies
At one point I could play pretty much every part to this. I can play about two thirds now, and could probably do the rest if I looked up the Tab. Oddly, I can remember many of the fills and bridges and the solo bits, but the rhythm has escaped me.
It's the only >5min song I've ever learned every part to.
-
off the top of my head
Probably Led Zep - Heartbreaker, including the freetime bit. Generally speaking I can't be arsed to learn solos anymore

Performed SRV's 'Lenny' at a year 11 Christmas concert.
And haven't really improved on that in 14 years.
Used to attempt Parisian Walkways too around that time, but never convincingly pulled off *that* run-down.
Oh man, and got so close to nailing Extreme's 'Get The Funk Out' solo on one or two occasions :D
