Would you watch an X Factor style show if it was centred around DIS-friendly artists?
Yes, you would. Just for the sheer horror of it all. My ideal judging panel would be Frank Ocean, Kate Jackson, Thom Yorke, Kele Okereke, and a Tom Clarke/Kasabian type fella for mainstream appeal to wind up the purists.

No
no I wouldn't
Who would be ant and dec?
Stewart Lee and Will Self perhaps?
Charlie Brooker & Mark Lemar?
Brooker and Doug Stanhope would be perfect
Or Charlie Brooker, talking to other Charlie Brookers from history. I'm delighted he hasn't softened on the telly, given as we speak he's probably taking Konnie Huq up the sticky back plastic.
Before any feminists accuse me of sexism
It's a name for a mile of fancy Thai restaurants in Wandsworth
Diana Vickers should appear every week in a running gag
Involving indie points, medieval ducking stools and septic tanks
Wasn't there something like this a few years back on channel 4?
I think Lauren Laverne was a judge.
It was called Transmission with T Mobile or something
The winning band pretty much got dropped straight away
Johnny Foreigner were on it, I think.
They didn't win.
It was called Orange UnsignedAct ... it's on 4od
Well the info guide is .... the programmes are not.
It was hosted by Alex Zane, with A&M's Simon Gavin, Blur's Alex James and Lauren Laverne on the judging panel. It was a staple of my early morning TV watching in 2007.
I generally try to avoid DiS friendly artists full stop.
DiS-hostile artists are much better
Like the Enemy, Reverend and the Makers, The Kayas etc...
Remember Petronella and Peter Brame? :D
I do
They're called the opening act.
