When I saw them in Manchester, what impressed me almost as much as the music was the fact that they were blatantly enjoying it and were passionate about what they were doing.

The Daily Mail seem to be imagining what Radiohead would be like live based on the "why don't they cheer up? they don't play 'Creep' anymore, what's up with that?".

by someone who obviously didn't go to either gig and is trying to disguise that fact by just making poorly-researched comparisons between the two acts.

it's Felicity Kendal and Kylie who should be affronted by this piece.

They could have done two dull separate reviews of soulless arena performances (that they probably either didn't go to or spent 15 minutes there), instead they combined them to make things a touch more interesting. I am sure Radiohead fans don't care what the Mail or any review says about them, they know what they like. And Cheryl Cole fans probably don't read newspapers.

Basically saying "This article only exists to have a go at Radiohead, but actually its quite positive about Radiohead, but I'm angry anyway"
