The cover for Frances the Mute is probably one of my favorite album covers ever. I don't know why. When I first bought that album, I just STARED at it. It transfixed me, on a really weird level. I love it.

i think you can judge the cover as-is, without knowing the music. that's the whole point right? if you judge the music on the cover then yeah, you maybe should rethink that. but judging the cover? pretty much okay with me.

Just on its own, it seems a bit lazy but mostly just goofy and casual. I would expect the tone of the music inside to follow.
