Slow Club. Are you guys fans or not?
Both their albums are average for me. I don't mean that as an insult. There are some great songs on their albums but also some very poor ones. I've seen them live three times now. The third being their gig tonight at The Koko. They always come over as really nice guys despite delivering an average set. Are they the nicest average band at the moment?

I thought I liked them for a bit... but really, the songs are just not very good.
Which is a fact i'd somehow managed to overlook in my initial assessment.

I like them a lot.
Both albums are really pretty good, if somewhat different in style. Was a bit odd seeing them on their tour for their second album as they only played one or two from Yeah, So which I prefer but only because the songs are more catchy. Also weird because I was smashed and thought it was appropriate to try and converse with them during the show. Embarrassing.

I saw them support The Duke Spirit a couple of times a few years ago and they bored me silly.
Not given them a chance since.
